About Erasmus+
General
Erasmus+ is the EU Programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period 2021-2027.
The general objective of the Programme is to support, through lifelong learning, the educational, professional and personal development of people in education, training, youth and sport, in Europe and beyond, thereby contributing to sustainable growth, quality jobs and social cohesion, to driving innovation, and to strengthening European identity and active citizenship.
Erasmus Charter for Higher Education
The Cyprus Institute is a holder of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) since 2013 (CY LEFKOSI02). The ECHE is a prerequisite for all HEIs participating in mobility projects. The ECHE provides the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities that a higher education institution carries out within Erasmus+.

Mobility Projects for Higher Education Students and Staff
The Cyprus Institute Graduate School coordinates all CyI Erasmus+ mobility projects implemented under Erasmus+ Key Action 1 for Learning Mobility of Individuals.
All CyI students, faculty, research and administrative staff can participate in physical and blended mobility activities funded by Erasmus+.
