Culmination of celebrations for the completion of 10 years since CyI’s establishment:
First Graduation Ceremony of Doctoral Students

The first Graduation Ceremony of Doctoral students of The Cyprus Institute was held on Friday, July 1st in the presence of the President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades.

The ceremony, which was the culmination of a series of events for the completion of 10 years since the establishment of The Cyprus Institute, was held with great success at the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia. Minister of Education and Culture, Dr Costas Kadis awarded the Doctoral degrees to all graduates.

In recognition of their general contributions in the areas of research, education, culture and economy, and more specifically for their initiative, engagement and support to the creation and development of the Cyprus Institute, Giannis Ioannides, Andreas Mouskos, Edmee Leventis and Richard Cooper were presented with honorary doctorate degrees.

Leading figures from the scientific, business and political world attended the ceremony.
