ClimEconImpacts - Impacts of Climate Change on the Cypriot Economy
In collaboration with the Economics Research Centre of the University of Cyprus, researchers from three Centers of the Cyprus Institute (STeDI-RC, CARE-C and EEWRC) will provide insights into the physical impacts of climate change in Cyprus and – where possible – the associated economic impacts. CyI will provide all relevant information based on CyI’s climate, energy policy, and economic models about the expected impacts of climate change in key sectors of the Cypriot economy (energy, health, agriculture, tourism, etc.) by the years 2030 and 2050. Both the costs of the green energy transition and the costs of climate change impacts will be included.
