Polina Christofi is an Archaeological Officer at the Department of Antiquities, Cyprus. She has received her Bachelor degree in the fields of History and Archaeology from the University of Cyprus and her Master’s degree in Aegean Prehistory from the University of Sheffield, UK. She has directed a number of excavations throughout the Cyprus Republic, with most prominent those at the moat of the Venetian Walls of Nicosia in front of the Pafos Gate and at the Chalcolithic site of Erimi-Pampoula. Her research interests consist on the use of new technologies in Archaeology and in the field of cultural heritage management.
