Over the past eleven years, Dr Avgousti has been a senior scientist specializing in Digital Humanities and Digital Cultural Heritage Informatics at The Cyprus Institute's Science and Technology in Archaeology and Culture Research Center (STARC). Before joining The Cyprus Institute, he worked in the USA and Cyprus. Additionally, he served as a college lecturer.
His Research Focuses on Designing, Developing, and Applying Computational Tools and Methodologies to Advance the Fields of Digital Humanities and Heritage.
