Katerina Loizou

Katerina Loizou holds the position of Coordinator for DiGiNN, acting as a project manager for the Cypriot Digital Innovation Hub, funded by the European Union’s Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL). Main activities include the coordination, management and reporting of the DiGiNN project.

She holds an MEng and a PhD Chemical Engineering and her background revolves around microfluidics, nanoparticles and materials. Following her studies, she has worked as a PostDoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Chemical Engineering, in University College London (UCL) and as an R&D Engineer in a Cypriot based company working with advanced materials. She has been heavily involved both in pre- and post-award of national and EU project as well as in the management and coordination of research projects.
