The Cyprus Institute

Anixi has joined the Institute in March 2021.

 

Since 2001, she has worked as an DSP Engineer and Electrical Systems Consultant for the railway industry in UK before moving to Cyprus where she joined project consortia developing R&D solutions in the areas of Information and Communication Technology as a project manager and researcher. In 2012 she joined an international telecommunications provider, with operations  in Cyprus, as a Products & Services Manager within the Marketing and Business Development Unit of the company. She was responsible for the existing portfolio and the creation of new products and services for the retail fixed and Corporate/SME sectors. In 2017, she joined a Center of Excellence at the University of Cyprus in order to organize and manage its Innovation Hub.    

 

Anixi holds an MEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (1998) and a PhD degree in Communications and Signal Processing (2002), both from the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of Imperial College, London. In 2020, she also completed her Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the School of Economics and Management of the University of Cyprus. She is also a registered Member at the Technical Chamber of Cyprus.

 

Her skills and experience cover business and product development, project management, marketing and business strategy in various industry settings.
