On Thursday, June 25, 2024, the High Commissioner of India to Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Manish, along with Mr. Subhash Jangala, First Secretary (Economic Affairs), visited The Cyprus Institute’s premises.

Following a private meeting between Prof. Malas and the High Commissioner, a briefing on The Cyprus Institute’s activities and achievements was presented by Prof. Malas with participation of CyI’s Senior staff.

CyI President, Prof. Stavros Malas, hosted the meeting, accompanied by CyI Vice President of Operations, Dr. Michalis Yiangou, CyI Asst. Vice President of Policy and Internal Communications, Mrs. Eleni Sophocleous, CyI Asst. Vice President of Innovation and Development, Dr. Konstantinos Kleovoulou, EEWRC and STeDI-RC Director, Prof. Theodoros Zachariadis, STARC Director, Prof. Michel Menu, and Head of the Graduate School, Dr. Chrysanthia Leontiou.

The High Commissioner also had the opportunity to tour selected CyI facilities, including the Unmanned Systems Research Laboratory (USRL), the BioMERA MicroCT Facility, and the Archaeological Materials Lab.
