The Cyprus Institute and the Municipality of Strovolos have officially sealed their successful collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at further developing their relationship in areas of common interest, with particular emphasis on research and innovation. This collaboration aims to create a framework for implementing solutions that target the sustainable and long-term development of urban areas and cities.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 in a Ceremony that took place at Strovolos Town Hall. On behalf of the Municipality, the Memorandum was signed by the Mayor, Mr. Stavros Stavrinidis, and on behalf of CyI, its President, Dr. Stavros Malas.
