Nano-SuperCaps - High Performing Nano-enhanced Structural Supercapacitors Free of Critical Raw Materials
AmaDema, an SME specializing in advanced materials puts forward Nano-SuperCaps to design, test, and demonstrate emerging new material concepts for cost-effective Structural Supercapacitors (SSC), free of critical raw materials. The proposed Structural SCs aim to double the energy density of current state-of-the-art commercial technologies.
The strategic collaboration with The Cyprus Institute as well as the University of Surrey and the University of Patras will enable AmaDema to further validate and demonstrate the proposed structural supercapacitors' core technologies (electrodes and electrolytes). Additionally, it will reduce some technological uncertainties, further strengthening the potential of transforming the developments within Nano-SuperCaps into successful commercial products supporting the economies of Cyprus and the EU.
