BARYON8- Hyperon Structure and Semileptonic Decays from Lattice QCD
This project will provide the first complete picture of the structure of baryons in the octet, nucleons and hyperons, via the study of their Form Factors. Hyperons have the potential to provide new insights into two of the most challenging problems in particle physics: i) a coherent and quantitative description of strong interactions, and ii) the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the Universe.
We will focus on key observables that can enable the discovery of new physics, such as the study of the Electric Dipole Moment of Hyperons.
