AgReCOMPOSITES - Circular Recycled Plastic Biochar Products from Agricultural and Livestock Wastes
Polymer composites exhibiting enhanced thermomechanical performance attract considerable attention in recent years. For this purpose, academic and industrial research has been mainly focusing on the development of polymer-based composites, reinforced with various fillers of organic and inorganic nature.
The AgReCOMPOSITES project focuses on the development of innovative, sustainable, cost-effective and environmentally friendly polymer composites, in which biochar-based fillers produced by an economical and environmentally friendly process will be incorporated in virgin thermoplastics and thermoplastic polymer recyclates, aiming to enhance their thermomechanical performance.
