Sylvia M. Savvidou is a Senior Research Coordinator Officer at The Cyprus Institute for the Computation-based Science and Technology Research Centre (CaSToRC). Her background is in education (BA) and psychology (MSc, PhD). Her research focuses on factors influencing learning, critical thinking and belief formation through reading multiple texts. Current projects she is involved in is the GenAI4ED, regarding the design and influence of Artificial Intelligence to educational settings.
