Ioanna Liatsou
Ioanna Liatsou is a Research Coordination Scientist at CaSToRC of The Cyprus Institute. She leads the coordination and management of the multi-partner project Pharos-CY, which delivers advanced AI services in collaboration with European partners. Her responsibilities include overseeing project implementation, managing technical teams, liaising with stakeholders and funding bodies, and supporting dissemination and strategic planning activities.
Dr. Liatsou is a PhD-level scientist with expertise in radioanalytical chemistry and radiopharmaceutical development. She has extensive experience coordinating complex research programs and managing multidisciplinary teams in both Europe and the United States. She conducted her postdoctoral research at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Radiological Physics Division, and subsequently gained industry experience as bioscience lead in early discovery drug development at AstraZeneca.
