Georgios Panayiotou
George Panayiotou is a PhD candidate in the RIF PhD in Industry Programme at The Cyprus Institute (CyI) Graduate School, in collaboration with Hyperion Systems Engineering. His research focuses on the development of Artificial Intelligence Soft Sensors (AI-SS-PI) for industrial applications, combining advanced process control, data analytics, and chemical engineering principles.
George holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester and is an Associate Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (AMIChemE). Alongside his doctoral studies at CaSToRC, he works as a Process Control & Automation Engineer at Hyperion, contributing to projects in energy, process industries, and digital transformation.
