Elie Bimenyimana has recently joined The Cyprus Institute as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Atmospheric Sciences at the Climate and Atmosphere Research Centre (CARE-C). He holds a PhD in Energy, Environment and Atmospheric Sciences (2025) and an MSc/MPhil in Environmental Sciences (2020) from The Cyprus Institute, as well as an MSc in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) & Stellenbosch University.
His current research focuses on absorbing aerosols in the Eastern Mediterranean region, exploring their spatiotemporal distribution and sources.
