Pantelis Chatzikonstantinou joined the Cyprus Institute in January 2020 as IT Technical Research Specialist at the Climate and Atmosphere Research Centre (CARE-C). He also holds the position of IT Officer in the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF) and he is the IT Consultant of the Hellenic Association of Spermatology.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in the IT and Technical Support sectors as well as in microelectronics design and repairs. During the last years, he was providing technical support, as outsourced IT manager, in many Greek firms in Athens area, and has designed and fabricated many electronic replacement parts for gym and medical equipment.
He has previously worked at the Boston Consulting Group (2006 – 2009) as IT Specialist, in Wind Telecommunications (2003 – 2004) as an IS Administrator, and in Hellas On Line (2001-2002) as a Network Engineer. He has also designed the websites of PEGASOS and LAQS and has contributed in the design of the newer version of LAQS.
Pantelis was a volunteer in Athens Olympic and Paralympic Games of 2004 and he is officially trained in First Aid and CPR. He is married and is a father of one child.
