George joined the Energy, Environment and Water Research Center (EEWRC) of the Cyprus Institute as a PhD student in September 2014. He received a BSc in Physics and a MSc in Environmental Physics and Meteorology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. His undergraduate research project was titled ‘Air Pollution in Athens by Respirable Suspended Particles (PM10)’ and his MSc thesis ‘Heat Island and Thermal Bioclimate in the Greater Athens Area and Thermal Comfort Prediction using Artificial Neural Networks’.
