Marina Faka joined the CyI in September 2012. She holds a five years engineering diploma from the School of the Rural and Surveying Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (2006-2011). Her diploma thesis was about the Geometrical documentation of the church of the Holy Cross in the village of Pelendri, in Cyprus. Marina has participated in several projects considering the 3D documentation of archaeological sites and monuments, with the main goal to develop her skills in the geometric documentation of such a demanding field. She has also taken part in archaeological excavation missions as the topographer of the site. She has worked in case studies all over Cyprus, in Greece, in Israel and in Italy.
